The lounge was formerly the waiting room and exhibits large windows letting in streams of light and flanked by the original shutters. It is the perfect environment to relax in and you will remain entertained with the sky digital flat screen television and free wireless Internet. There is also a dining table and chairs provided where you can sample the culinary masterpieces you have conjured up in the fully equipped kitchen that is a joy to cook in.
The master bedroom exudes elegance whilst remaining highly functional. Simplistic design compliments the comfortable furnishings and a tranquil sanctuary is created. A custom built wardrobe and side tables provide plenty of storage space and the superior grade, anti allergenic mattress and opulent bed linen promote a restful night's sleep. Deep recessed ''arrow slit'' windows add character to the room, whilst the area is illuminated from the sky light above with a blackout shield, remotely controlled with a solar powered device. There is also a therapeutic wild garden where you can sit by the huge pond and feed the fish and generally commune with nature!
Other facilities include a patio area with outdoor furniture ideal for al fresco dining and interludes in the sunshine. There is plenty of parking should you bring your own transportation and secure undercover shelter for bicycles – the best way to explore the stunning landscape that surrounds Castle Howard Station Platform 1.
